Top Notch Court Reporters in Shreveport and Bossier City

Phone 318-746-2661

Just nine blocks down Barksdale Boulevard from Horseshoe Casino and two blocks off of Interstate 20, our Bossier City office is centrally located just across the river from downtown Shreveport, Louisiana. We acquired this office, located at 400 Travis St 3rd Floor, in 2011 upon merging the then 30-year old Allied Court Reporting firm with goDEPO. Allied Reporting had been owned and operated for 20 years by J.C. and Vickie Odom who are steno machine reporters themselves. Out of respect we continue to operate as Allied goDEPO. We know many local attorneys loved J.C. and Vickie and we have striven diligently to maintain and improve on their client-service ethic.

Allied goDEPO has several experienced deposition reporters and a couple of very capable legal videographers on our team in the Shreveport-Bossier City region. Our staff and reporters are wholly dedicated to our clients. Whether they are local or visiting attorneys, we endeavor to meet their every need and we always go above and beyond to that end.

Here we offer a conference room that comfortably sits 6-8 to serve your deposition, mediation and arbitration needs. The room also serves as a videoconference suite and is outfitted with a Polycom H.323 videoconferencing system and LCD monitor. As conference rooms go, it’s not super fancy, but it is comfortable and convenient.

WE’RE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR ADDITIONAL CERTIFIED REPORTERS

The Shreveport-Bossier City metropolitan area may not appear to be as big as it is. With a population of over 441,000, it is third in size in Louisiana behind New Orleans and Baton Rouge respectively. The area also seems to have fewer attorneys and court reporters per capita than other large cities in the State of Louisiana. In fact, as in other areas of the United States, Shreveport has a bit of a deposition reporter shortage. Thirty years ago there were a few court reporting schools between Shreveport and Dallas that supplied stenotype reporters to the Shreveport area. But over the past 20 years most of those schools, except a few in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, have closed. So now it seems few to no new steno machine reporters come to settle in the area. Those graduating from the Dallas-Fort Worth schools tend to stay in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. At the same time many older deposition reporters in the city have filled the official court positions, retired or exited the field leaving few doing freelance deposition work.

We are always on the lookout for additional professional, qualified certified court reporters. We make every effort to support and treat our reporters as well as we do our clients. If you are a CCR living in or moving to the area, and would like to join a winning team whether fulltime or part-time, please contact us.
